South Padre Island

We took our end of the summer mini-vaca to South Padre Island in the Gulf of Mexico last weekend. Other than being on the outskirts or hurricane Karl, we had pretty decent weather and spent most of our time on the beach or in the pool. Cash wasnt' quite sure what to think of the ocean at first, but after some time spent in the surf with Dad, he decided it was pretty cool. But still would rather walk in the sand and find treasure. Great way to end the summer. Now if the weather here in Austin would just realize it is officially fall. Enought of the 90+ heat, geez...
